We are a subcontractor based spa, giving our team the freedom and support they need to build the business of THEIR dreams. Under the leadership of Penny our staff is encouraged in education, learning the business as a whole and one on one mentorship.

Deeper Kneads was founded in 2017 by DK’s owner Penny Harner. Harner has had an extensive 20+ year career in which she built her impressive resume and network within the East Texas medical community. Primed with a great referral team, Penny moved forward with her vision and start making it a reality. In 2020 Deeper Kneads set up shop in a personal training gym for the next 3 years and that’s where everything began to change.
Samantha F. Nourse was, at the time, looking for a different environment and a mentor to hone her skills and develop professional community. Deeper Kneads checked all the boxes, including the freedom to collaborate within the business and become a part of its fabric.
As a dual licensed Massage Therapist and Esthetician, Samantha was able to expand DK’s menu and how the establishment can serve its clientele.
